Bears at Saints (SPREAD: NO -8.5)

"A second week in a row I'm going to take a blowout. I like the Saints -8.5. Derek Carr and the offense has 400+ yards in three straight games. They have figured it out. I trust their defense with Dennis Allen. Their defense has been great all season, it's now the second-best third-down defense in the league, and is top 5 in all the stuff that matters. With the Bears there's some 'quit' here. They're 5-20 under Matt Eberflus and have zero wins against winning teams. They just got blown out by the Chargers who can't blow out anybody, and their quarterback, the backup, on passes thrown 10 yards down the field this year he completes 47%. He was playing Division-2 football. The Chargers don't blow out anybody under Brandon Staley, that's very rare, especially this season. This is a blowout. Saints are going to clamp down, move the chains, swallow the 8.5-- Saints win 33-13."

Colin's prediction: Saints 33, Bears 13.

Colin's pick: New Orleans -8.5

Cowboys at Eagles (SPREAD: PHI -3)

“Eagles are 3-0 at home this year, and were 12-2 at home last year including the playoffs. They're very good, this is a big TV game, America watching. Best 3rd and 4th down offense in the league. They'll control the line of scrimmage. Their offense this year with Jalen Hurts not at 100% is remarkable. But I'm impressed with their defense that's allowed the fewest big plays in the game. Dallas will not be able to run. Tony Pollard has been insignificant for a month. He has fewer than 60 rushing yards in each of the last four games. They are very one-dimensional with CeeDee Lamb. Put Slay on him, they got a safety now. This is a bad Cowboys red zone offense, the Eagles are a great home favorite, and the Cowboys are a very mediocre dog. Eagles win 30-24 and cover."

Colin's prediction: Eagles 30, Cowboys 24.

Colin's pick: Philadelphia -3

Colts at Panthers (SPREAD: IND -2.5)

"Like it? I LOVE IT, Panthers +2.5. Frank Reich gave up the play-calling duties to a young coordinator and the offense looked different. Bryce Young was under control and had a 71% completion percentage against DeMeco Ryans, a smartly coached defense. Suddenly Bryce Young is accurate and more comfortable. Frank can walk around and let the OC be the OC. Very quietly at the trade deadline the Panthers did not trade Brian Burns. That's good for the locker room. The Colts offense is overstated. I know all of you love Gardner Minshew but he's 0-3 since he took over for Anthony Richardson. He's a turnover machine, 9 giveaways in three games, stop the presses. The Panthers win, should be favored, win by four, fewer mistakes, Colts are a little bit of smoke and mirrors with turnover-prone Gardner Minshew. Take the points and the Panthers, 28-24."
Colin's prediction: Panthers 28, Colts 24.

Colin's pick: Carolina +2.5

Bills at Bengals (SPREAD: CIN -1.5) [Sunday Night Football]

“Everybody loves loves the Bengals and so do I, -1.5. First of all, they have fewer mistakes. I think the Bengals are an ascending football team. I think the Bills are an inconsistent, declining one. The Bengals were 8-0 after October last year and once again they're on a heater in October. They have eight takeaways in three games, they're getting back to Bengals football. Since Week 5 Burrow is absolutely insane, it's like flag football at the high school level, completing 78% of his throws. The Bills only have one win this year against a team currently with a winning record, that was the Dolphins. They're not a good road team. Eight picks this year for Josh Allen, only Jimmy Garoppolo has more. I like the team with fewer mistakes, better situational football at home, they'll cover-- Bengals 28, Bills 23."

Colin's prediction: Bengals 28, Bills 23.

Colin's pick: Cincinnati -1.5

Chargers at Jets (SPREAD: LAC -3.5) [Monday Night Football]

“I'll take the Jets +3.5. I don't trust the Chargers off a big win. I think it's a coaching mismatch. Zach Wilson is not my cup of tea but here's the thing... Robert Saleh has coached the mistakes out of him. He has zero picks in four out of the last five games, and is on a three-game winning streak. For the record, they're 9-7 under Saleh when Zach Wilson starts. You didn't know that, did you? The defense since Week 3 has been sensational. The Chargers are 0-3 against winning teams this year, the offense is now regressing -- scoring under 20 in two of the last three. Their defense gives up six yards a play. How?? They're spending all that money on it! They got two great edge rushers! They allow huge plays, eight plays of over 40 yards. If Zach Wilson doesn't make mistakes and this defense doesn't force you into them, I'm going to take the Jets, the points, and the upset win. Brandon Staley, pressure cooker, Tuesday morning -- 24-23 upset win, Jets over the Chargers"

Colin's prediction: Jets 24, Chargers 23.

Colin's pick: New York +3.5
