Clay Travis is fired up. One of the big stories of the week is the Ivy League cancelling all fall sports this upcoming season due to COVID-19. There has been a lot of reaction to this decision so far. Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal has been one big voice that has come out with strong opinions about this decision by the Ivy League, and Senator Blumenthal called for other college sports conferences to do the same, and cancel sports this fall.
There's one major issue that Clay has with Senator Blumenthal about his opinion: Blumenthal has previously lied, on multiple occasions, about his service during the Vietnam War. This has Clay so heated that he leaves the mic smoking. How does Blumenthal even hold a seat in the United States Senate? How could anybody trust the opinion of a man who lies about something as significant as serving his country in one of the most brutal wars in the history of the United States?
