Colin Cowherd Makes His Prediction on Eagles vs. Cowboys Showdown in Dallas

Colin Cowherd: “Philadelphia got sandblasted by the 49ers and they’re going nuts now. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have won 24 of their last 26 regular season games. In the last two years the surest thing in the NFL is Philadelphia is going to win a game. Their schedule got strangely back-loaded and they had to face the Cowboys, Kansas City, Buffalo, and San Francisco back-to-back-to-back-to-back weeks. The rest of the league would have been overwhelmed to go 3-1. That’s the toughest four-game stretch for any team in the NFL this season I would argue. The defense was on the field for 96 snaps vs. Buffalo, and then here came the well-rested 49ers who played on Thanksgiving and got extra rest. And now the Eagles are ‘pretenders’?? What’s happening to Philadelphia has been happening for the last several years. Go back to 2020... Tom Brady’s Buccaneers got hammered by the Saints twice in the regular season and ended up Super Bowl champs. The Rams got beat twice by the 49ers in 2021 and looked out-classed, and ended up beating the 49ers and winning the Super Bowl. Kansas City last year got beat by Cincinnati and Buffalo, their primary rivals, and ended up winning the Super Bowl. Philadelphia is fine, they’re the number one seed in the NFC and have absolutely nothing to worry about. This recency bias in a stand-alone big game that Philadelphia is ‘no good’ is insane. The last two years in the league, the most consistent thing isn't that Mahomes is great, it was that Philadelphia would win a football game. Even the greatest pitchers in high-leverage moments eventually snap. Philadelphia is gonna be just fine. I like them to beat the Cowboys this weekend.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd make his pick for the highly anticipated Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday Night Football that could determine who grabs the NFC’s number one seed and first-round bye.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why he’s not selling his Eagles stock despite Philly getting laughably manhandled by a Niners team last week who had already throttled Dallas earlier in the season.
