The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly reached an agreement with Pro Bowl linebacker Josh Allen on a five-year, $150 million contract, which includes $88 million guaranteed, after placing the franchise tag on him earlier in the offseason, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter Wednesday (April 10) morning.

Allen, 26, a two-time Pro Bowl selection and former No. 7 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, recorded a franchise-best 17.5 sacks in 2023. The franchise had previously also reached agreements on long-term deals with offensive tackle Cam Robinson in 2022 and tight end Evan Engram in 2023 after placing the franchise tag on them earlier in their respective free agency offseasons.

"Pro Bowl LB Josh Allen reached agreement on a five-year, $150 million contract that includes $88 million guaranteed, sources tell ESPN. Allen had a Jaguars franchise-record 17.5 sacks last season. The deal was negotiated by @WME_Sports," Schefter wrote on his X account. "The Jaguars have now gone three consecutive offseasons of using the franchise tag and then getting a long-term deal done: in 2022 with OT Cam Robinson, in 2023 with TE Evan Engram, and now in 2024 with OLB Josh Allen."
