Colin Cowherd Says This is Why Broncos Could Be Closing in on Aaron Rodgers

Colin Cowherd: “They say all physical affairs start as emotional affairs… This is very interesting, NFL reporter Dan Graziano says the Broncos have requested permission to interview Packers quarterbacks coach Luke Getsy for their head coaching opening, and also with Packers offensive coordinator Nathanial Hackett. HAHA, very smart. This is of course what the Lakers did before they had LeBron. Do you remember what the Lakers did before LeBron showed up? They freed up $18 million for KCP, who was represented by Klutch Sports. They just found it under the mattress I guess, 'let’s just give all of it to LeBron’s friend Rich Paul'. You see it all the time in college when you hire ‘THIS guy who knows THIS recruit…’ Aaron would look amazing in a Denver Broncos uniform, that goes without saying. Does everyone understand this? If Jordan Love could play, and right now I’m not sure he can, they would move him if he was 80% of Aaron. Why? Massive cap flexibility for the Packers, Aaron is dramatic sometimes – that wears out the front office, and Aaron is older. If you were Green Bay and you could pick a place to send him, it would be Denver. Not just because it’s the other conference, but he would have to make it through Justin Herbert, Pat Mahomes, and Derek Carr twice a year. The chances of him dominating that division and getting a number one seed, it ain’t going to happen. You don’t want to send Aaron to some lousy division like the NFC East where he shows up every year and humiliates you… It’s just very interesting what Denver is doing, this is really smart. This is what the Lakers did before LeBron. They found $18 million under a mattress to take care of LeBron’s peeps, to let him know how you feel about him. There are a lot of messages out there sent in sports and this is a really smart one.” (Full Video Above)
