Colin Cowherd Explains Why Drew Lock Has Failed in Denver

Colin Cowherd: “I said all summer that I think Drew Lock is going to pop and I see some ‘special’ here. He AIN’T it. You know what he is? He’s got the Baker Mayfield issue. He thinks he’s a lot better than he is so he’s lose and kind of cocky. He plays like he’s better than he is, so he lacks a certain humility when he plays. Baker has that too, he thinks he’s more athletic than he really is, where Tua knows there are limitations to what he can do athletically so he has to be super accurate. Drew is way too loose, way too sloppy, and this doesn’t work. He has 10 picks his last 5 games, and he's really bad early in games where he should be on-script, and he doing things he knows he can do well. He gets himself into HUGE holes with bad decisions. “ (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks second-year Broncos quarterback Drew Lock has ultimately been a failure in Denver, as Colin believes Lock is the next Baker Mayfield-type first round letdown who is much more bark than actual bite.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why he went from huge Lock fan during the offseason, to blunt critic in a matter of two months, as Lock has 10 INTs in his last five games for a free-falling Broncos team.
