Denver Broncos star wide receiver has been arrested Thursday (May 12) in Colorado.
According to TMZ, the 23-year-old NFL player was taken into custody between 11:30 a.m. and noon local time. While Jeudy is currently in custody, an Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said he is still being processed in the booking phase.
The former Alabama standout is being held on charges of second-degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer, which is a misdemeanor, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said on Twitter. He is being held without bond.
The Denver Broncos issued the following statement regarding Jeudy's arrest, according to ESPN:
"We are aware of the matter involving Jerry Jeudy and are in the process of gathering more information."
Jeudy was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In two seasons, he has recorded 90 receptions, 1,323 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.
