Chris Broussard: “If the Warriors lose this series all of the ‘dynasty’ talk goes out of the window, and the Steph being an ‘all-time top 10 player’ goes out the window too. If they lose this series they go from some people thinking they’re an all-time great dynasty to a great team who won a championship in 2015, but nobody is talking about them in historical ways."
Rob Parker: “If they lose to the Celtics you have to go back and unpack their championships. In their last 9 NBA Finals games without Kevin Durant, these Warriors are 1-8 [2-8 after their Game 2 victory] with Steph, Klay, and Draymond. That’s an unbelievable run to have a 1-8 record over 9 NBA Finals games. It makes you nitpick what they have done, reminds you they choked down a 3-1 lead, they won two when Durant was there – he was the Finals MVP in both, and then they lost to Boston in the championship who was the underdog. It would change EVERYTHING. You wouldn’t be taking away their championships but it wouldn’t feel as good. This is very important legacy-wise. That conversation about Steph being in the top 10 all-time will not be addressed [if Golden State loses].” (Full Segment Above)
