Colin Cowherd Says this Player is the NFL's Most Disrespected Player

Colin Cowherd: “Jimmy Garoppolo is one of the top 4 quarterbacks in the entire NFL in third down passer rating. Jimmy G delivers in big spots. Everybody loves Tua this year, but if you love Tua, you gotta love Jimmy G. Historic injuries to be concerned about, physical limitations, super accurate, win a lot, both facilitators , not elevators with brilliant coaches that need great weapons to flourish, but certainly once they have them they win and get them the ball. The only difference is that Jimmy G has gotten to a Super Bowl, Tua may or may not. Tua and Jimmy G are alpha males who are great at the podium, don’t play with a ton of flair, lot of critics, highly resilient, don’t pout, no agendas, dudes everybody likes, and great distributors. This Dolphins and 49ers offense is not better served with quarterbacks with great arms and flashy styles. San Francisco is unique. They never throw it deep and almost never throw it down the sideline. You almost always know where the ball is going at all times and you still can’t stop it. It is death by 1,000 cuts. I’ve seen Jimmy Garoppolo beat Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau in a playoff game and outplay him in the fourth quarter. I’ve seen him go to a Super Bowl and outplay Patrick Mahomes for three quarters. There is not a single NFL player who is more disrespected than Garoppolo. The top four passer ratings on the biggest down in the league, third down— Mahomes, Burrow, Tua, and Jimmy Garoppolo. Everybody is now encouraging each other to support Tua, nobody is doing that for Garoppolo. Look at the standings and starting yellowing the teams who would be better this morning if Garoppolo was the quarterback. It gets really close to half the league. The 49ers are now 40-19 when Garoppolo starts. They’re 9-29 with every other quarterback [under Kyle Shanahan].” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Jimmy Garoppolo is the ‘most disrespected player in the NFL’, pointing out that the 49ers are 40-19 when Garoppolo starts in the Kyle Shanahan era, while San Francisco is just 9-29 under the same regime when he’s not starting.

Check out the video above as Colin details how Garoppolo and Tua Tagovailoa are very similar players having very parallel seasons in 2022, yet one is celebrated and the other one is still derided.
