LeSean McCoy's original take on Dak Prescott from 12/20:
“Dak is a**. Can I say that on TV? Because he is A**, A**. This is the second game that he has just lost by throwing picks. He threw two picks to the Packers when he had a 14-point lead— LOST, then they were up 17 [vs. Jacksonville], throws picks and they LOST. The first one he threw was terrible, that AWFUL, like where was he throwing that ball to?? Dak Prescott has the second easiest job, first goes to Purdy and Jimmy G with the 49ers— great defense, run the ball very well, make safe passes— Dak has the EASIEST job in football. The picks he’s throwing? He’s not even trying to thread the needle, or fit them through small little windows, these are easy passes. They run the ball well, what else can they do?? I pay you $160 million and this is how you play?? If you’re telling me that’s outstanding, I don’t know what to say, I’m lost for words. You keep talking about these numbers [talking to co-host David Helman who said Dak had a top 10 passer rating in Week 15], when you watch the game with your eyes he looked TRASH. It’s crazy, it’s like I’m getting ‘Punk’d’ or something. When you all watch the game, he looked good to you?? He lost the game for them to the Jaguars! Dak is so average it’s crazy. The hype he gets? If he played for another team we would never talk about him." (Full Segment Above)
McCoy Doubling Down:
Emmanuel Acho: "Tony Dungy has called you out, Kurt Warner has spoke up, the whole world has spoke up, are you standing on your Dak Prescott opinion?"
LeSean McCoy: "Yes, I stand on it ten toes down. What I say I believe in, and what I believe in is what I talk about. First of all, Mr. Dungy, happy holidays. Lot of respect to you, O.G., but I stand on what I said. When I watch that game— and yes, I do watch the games— I’m not the guy who runs to stats unless I have to. These guys had a 17-point lead in the third quarter [vs. Jacksonville], it’s time to put them away. Your picks that you threw helped that team come back. Everybody wants to talk how the defense let them down, but when you’re throwing picks you help that cause. I said that Dak is ‘a**, a**’, what I should have said is Dak is playing ‘a**, a**.’ I have no beef with Dak, I don’t even know the guy. I’m just speaking what I see. When I watch the tape I don’t see this quarterback that everybody is talking about and screaming about. He lost them that game. I’ll give you some quick stats because I know some of you like stats: he’s thrown two picks in four of their last six games, and he leads the NFL with ten picks in his last seven games. Dak has only played in nine games and he has 11 turnovers. I can’t make that up. You can’t tell that that’s playing good. That’s playing BAD.” (Full Segment Above)
Watch former NFL All-Pro running back and ‘Speak’ co-host LeSean McCoy double-down on his scathing Dak Prescott criticism that went viral earlier this week on this heels of the Cowboys’ dreadful collapse against Jaguars in Week 15.
Check out the segment above as McCoy doesn’t back down from his stern critiquing of Dak’s play, as Prescott has the highest interception percentage in football for a loaded Cowboys team that doesn’t even ask much of him anymore.
