Blazin' 5: Colin Cowherd Gives His Five Best NFL Bets For Week 15

(VIDEO SEGMENT ABOVE)

Week 14 Blazin' 5 record: 2-3

Blazin' 5 season record: 34-29-2

Colts at Vikings (SPREAD: MIN -3.5)

“The number was better earlier in the week when it was closer to 4 and 4.5 but I’m going to take the Colts +3.5 at the Vikings. The Colts are coming off a bye and they were humiliated in their last game. Love teams that have been embarrassed, they had a lot of time to think about that. The Vikings defense is a mess. The Colts are in a lot of close games, and the season and pride is on the line. Right now the Vikings defense is the WORST in the league. It’s the worst pass defense in the league, it’s the worst total defense in franchise history, it’s just too many points and they play in too many close games. I liked it better at +4.5, I’ll still bet it at +3.5, Colts upset the Vikings, this is a go-either-way game, 24-23.”

Colin's prediction: Colts 24, Vikings 23.

Colin's pick: Indianapolis +3.5

Eagles at Bears (SPREAD: PHI -9)

“I’m going to take the Bears +9. Again, coming off a bye, and all four of their home losses this year have been under nine points. Justin Fields since Week 6, I’m getting 60 yards rushing and a touchdown every game. In fact, since Week 6 he’s been pretty decent, we’ve seen growth. This is a very good coaching staff and that always helps off a bye. This is the Eagles’ second game on a three-game roadie, the Cowboys are coming up, off a dominating win, this is a classic natural letdown spot. The Eagles win but I’m taking the nine points, 30-24 Philadelphia.”

Colin's prediction: Eagles 30, Bears 24.

Colin's pick: Chicago +9

Patriots at Raiders (SPREAD: LV -1.5)

“I’m going to take the Raiders -1.5. Hunter Renfrow comes back, this is a big game for Derek Carr and Josh McDaniels. He’s quarterbacking and he’s coaching for his career. The Raiders are coming off extra rest, they’ve outgained each of their last four opponents. Do you know only the Eagles have turned it over fewer times than the Raiders? They don’t beat themselves, they just have certain limitations. Josh Jacobs leads the league in rushing yards, Davante Adams is a beast, Hunter Renfro returns, and the Patriots, who have lost two of three, are 0-6 when they allow 20+ points. Knowing this defense, I think Josh McDaniels is going to have some success. The Patriots offense since Week 7 is pathetic, they have one touchdown drive of 10+ plays this year, fewest in the league. They’re also all beat up: DeVante Parker, Jakobi Meyers… Arizona had a backup [Colt McCoy] in. I think the Raiders and Derek Carr quarterbacking for his Raiders career beat the Patriots 28-23.”

Colin's prediction: Raiders 28, Patriots 23.

Colin's pick: Las Vegas -1.5

Titans at Chargers (SPREAD: LAC -3)

“I’m going to take the Titans and the points. They’re actually a very good road team, 4-3 on the year. Ryan Tannehill’s last eight games are a lot better than Tua against this defense that has Bosa gone, and Derwin James out. Ryan Tannehill’s last eight games he has a passer rating over 100. The Chargers don’t beat anybody big as a favorite, they’re a terrible favorite, better as a dog. The Chargers defense this year is not good, and Herbert has been sacked 18 times in the last month, more than any quarterback in the league since Week 11. They’re just too overly-reliant on Herbert, he has 45+ passing attempts in three straight games. Don’t be fooled by this Chargers defense owning Tua, Ryan Tannehill is playing good football. The Titans, desperate, they still lead their division, they’re not a terrible team, they’re in a bad skid but getting healthier, 24-23, Tennessee.”

Colin's prediction: Titans 24, Chargers 23.

Colin's pick: Tennessee +3

Rams at Packers (SPREAD: GB -7)

“When this number was 6.5 I liked it more, but I’ve already made my bet, I’m going to take Green Bay here. Extra rest from the Week 14 bye. Aaron has been great at home this year, folks, 12 touchdowns and a pick, and a 104 passer rating. Where they’ve struggled is on the road, and where they’ve struggled is against physical teams; the Rams are neither. The Packers also have 100+ rushing yards in five of six games, finally Matt LaFleur figured it out -- Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones, THAT’S your offense. Romeo Doubs is coming back, Christian Watson has emerged. The Rams are BAD. They were getting beat and Baker Mayfield had a great last drive and deserves credit, but this year he was completing 58% of his throws. The Rams are 4-9 on the season, don’t have many of their best players, Packers win Monday night at Lambeau, 30-20.”

Colin's prediction: Packers 30, Rams 20.

Colin's pick: Green Bay -7
